My name is Genni Davis -a little like a perennial flower- born and planted in Oklahoma and continuing to grow right here, year after year.
Some might say Iím a late-bloomer as indicated by my military service and college degrees. Although since retired from the Air Force; it wasnít until my late 20ís when I began serving, and although Iíve continued taking classes most of my life (for various interests), it wasnít until my early 40ís that I received my BFA in Painting. I have one in Psychology and am currently pursuing one in Interior Design. You can read about my art here.
Besides always being interested in visual and tactile things and interested in what results from the creative process, Iíve had a particular fondness for interior spaces. What fascinates me about a particular space is simply considering what can be done with it. I find it enjoyable to consider all the various and collective tangibles and intangibles that can turn a space void of anything into a space that has the potential Ėand even the likelinessĖ of becoming like none other. Itís the unique aspect of contemplation, creation, and implementation that I find so exciting. A space becomes the foundation; distinctive development of it is what gives it meaning and beauty.
It is my undying fondness for creating unique interiors that has provoked me into pursing Interior Design as a profession. I invite you to follow along with me here as I journal my journey.
